Below is a link to a 47-minute animated presentation about how money is generated nowadays and how banks function.  It was done by Paul Grignon and it is both entertaining and educational.  I recommend that you watch it in full (the 5 parts).  It shows how money is generated as a debt and not as a value and hints to why this leads to an UNSUSTAINABLE monetary system; the one the world is currently suffering from.  At the end, there is a brief discussion on how people can function in an interest-free monetary system.

No wonder all religions forbade usury (known as Riba by Muslims).
